Q: What is Monkey Boys?
A: Monkey Boys is an Ohio-based guided motorcycle touring company offering scenic rides across some of the most beautiful and exciting routes in the state. Our tours are designed for adventure-seekers, weekend warriors, and passionate riders of all experience levels.

 

Q: Where are you located?
A: We’re based in Ohio and operate rides throughout the state, with routes departing from the Columbus area and other strategic locations.

 

Q: Do I need my own motorcycle?
A: You’re welcome to bring your own bike, but we also partner with local rental providers if you need to rent one. Just let us know during booking, and we’ll help get you set up.

TOUR DETAILS

Q: What types of tours do you offer?
A: We offer a variety of guided tours:

• Half-Day Ride (4 hours)

• Full-Day Ride (8 hours)

• 2 Days / 1 Night Adventure

• 3 Days / 2 Nights Expedition
  Each tour includes a professional guide, planned stops, safety briefings, and optional add-ons.

 

Q: Are your tours suitable for beginners?
A: Yes! While some of our rides are more advanced, we clearly label them. If you're newer to riding or off-road adventures, we’ll match you with a tour that fits your skill level.

 

Q: How many people are in each group?
A: We keep group sizes small for safety and a better experience—typically between 4 to 8 riders per tour.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS​

 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and secure online payments.

 

Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the tour.

 

Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made 14+ days in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7-14 days may receive partial credit. No-shows or cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.

SAFETY & PREPARATION

​

Q: What gear is required?
A: All riders must wear a DOT-approved helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, and boots. We also recommend bringing a hydration pack, sunscreen, and rain gear.

 

Q: Are the tours guided by certified professionals?
A: Yes. All of our guides are experienced riders and certified in First Aid/CPR. Some are also MSF-certified instructors.

 

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Our tours run rain or shine unless severe weather poses a safety risk. In such cases, we’ll reschedule or issue a credit.
